Federal agents raid OKC gift card store amid fraud claims
OKLAHOMA CITY —
Federal investigators raided a northwest Oklahoma City store as part of an ongoing investigation into fraud.
Agents took dozens of boxes from A to Z Gift Cards, near Northwest 10th Street and Meridian Avenue, and loaded them onto the back of a van. Authorities have not released much information about the investigation, but they said the case involves credit-card and gift-card fraud spanning multiple states.
Investigators also said a large sum of money is involved. They said the amount is so big that Homeland Security, the Treasury Department, the IRS and the U.S. Attorneys Office are investigating.
Authorities would not say if any arrests have been made, but they said they also are investigating the incident in other states.
